My experience with the Mighty Mercedes Unimog

Ron Miller's hybrid firetruck/ambulance MOG.
The day after Thanksgiving, 1997, I went to visit Ron Miller.
It was my first Close Encounter of the Third Kind
(IE, I actually got to touch one) with a Unimog.

I had been wanting a 404 soft top radio truck for some time.  I knew that after this
was over, I would either have to have one or not want one.  It turned out to be
the first choice.  (I had expected it!)
